Washington, D.C. – Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Representative Jim Jordan for re-election in Ohio’s 4th Congressional District.
“Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund is proud to endorse pro-life champion Congressman Jim Jordan,” said former congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Congressman Jordan has been a stalwart defender of life in the House of Representatives, leading the charge to hold abortion giant Planned Parenthood accountable for its role in the harvest and sale of baby body parts and fighting to stop taxpayer funding of the abortion industry. His opponent, Janet Garrett, is a pro-abortion extremist. She is dramatically out of step with Ohioans, who aren’t fooled by her juvenile attacks on Jim and his pro-life principles. We look forward to seeing Congressman Jordan re-elected.”
Jim Jordan has represented the 4th Congressional District since 2007. Previously he served in both houses of the Ohio General Assembly. He is a sponsor of the Life at Conception Act, the Ultrasound Informed Consent Act, as well as a co-sponsor of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the Conscience Protection Act, the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, the Heartbeat Protection Act, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, and many other pro-life bills.
Rep. Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin, a master’s degree in education from Ohio State University, and a law degree from Capital University. He lives in Champaign County, Ohio with his wife Polly and their four children.
