WASHINGTON, D.C.Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund, a national pro-life political action committee, announced its endorsement of Wendy Rogers for U.S. Congress.

“Having served in the U.S. Air Force, Wendy understands what it means to be a bold leader and to protect lives. We are thrilled to endorse her candidacy as she seeks to represent Arizona women, children and families,” said SBA List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “We hope to see her take on Kyrsten Sinema in the fall. As a veteran and small business owner, Wendy Rogers understands better than most that protecting the most vulnerable and building up women as leaders are not only compatible choices, but essential to the well-being of our society.

“Congresswoman Sinema’s extreme pro-abortion views have earned her the endorsement of EMILY’s List and the support of America’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood. While in office, Sinema refused to support a compassionate, common ground limit on abortion after 20 weeks – more than halfway through pregnancy. Her extreme pro-abortion views fly in the face of mainstream Americans and are out of step with Arizona voters.”

Wendy Rogers is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force and owns a home inspection business with her husband. She has been endorsed by SBA List-backed pro-life incumbents Reps. Vicky Hartzler (R-MO) and Diane Black (R-TN).

Rogers will face off with other Republicans candidates in the August 26 primary.

The Susan B. Anthony List and its affiliated Political Action Committees, the SBA List Candidate Fund and Women Speak Out PAC, are dedicated to pursuing policies and electing candidates who will reduce and ultimately end abortion. To that end, the SBA List emphasizes the education, promotion, mobilization, and election of pro-life women at all levels of government.  The SBA List is a network of more than 365,000 pro-life Americans nationwide.
