Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony List’s Candidate Fund PAC announced its endorsement of Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee (R) for re-election.
“For over a decade, Kimberly Yee has been on the front lines of the fight to protect the most vulnerable among us and we are proud to endorse her for re-election,” said Hon. Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s vice president of government affairs. “At a time when the abortion industry has exploited the pandemic to grab taxpayer dollars meant for struggling businesses, and radical Democrats are pushing to force taxpayers to fund abortion until birth, Arizonans deserve leaders they can trust with their hard-earned dollars. As treasurer, in the legislature, and through her service in President Trump’s pro-life coalition, Kimberly has fought for the unborn and for taxpayers from day one. She fearlessly stands up to the Biden administration’s reckless policies that hurt families, women, and children. With Arizona increasingly leading the nation in protecting life, voices like hers are needed in Arizona more than ever.”
Yee is a native of Arizona and is the first Chinese-American Republican woman elected to a major statewide office in United States history. She was first elected treasurer in 2018. Previously she served four terms in the state legislature, the first Asian-American woman elected to the legislative body. As a freshman member of the House of Representatives, Yee sponsored the Ultrasound and Heartbeat Bill and the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. She was a founding member of SBA List’s National Pro-Life Women’s Caucus and stood with them in support of pro-life measures such as President Trump’s Protect Life Rule. Continuing her lifelong leadership, she was a member of the Pro-Life Voices for Trump Advisory Board. She and her husband own a small business in the West Valley and are parents to two young children.
SBA List is a network of 900,000 pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
