Baptist began his legal career in the trial department of McDermott, Will & Emery LLP. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and his law degree from The George Washington University Law School, where he served on The George Washington International Law Review. He is a member of the D.C. and Virginia Bars, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and many federal courts of appeals.
