Washington, D.C. – Today SBA Pro-Life America’s Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Craig Goldman (R) for Congress in Texas’ 12th District.

“We’re honored to endorse Rep. Craig Goldman, a staunch ally of unborn children and their mothers,” said Hon. Marilyn Musgrave, SBA Pro-Life America’s vice president of government affairs. “Texas is a leader in the fight to save lives from abortion, and Rep. Goldman has been behind virtually every one of these worthy battles in the legislature. As a co-sponsor of the Human Life Protection Act of 2021, he had the foresight and courage to envision the end of court-imposed abortion on demand under Roe and the dawning of a new culture of life in America – starting right in Texas, where babies are protected throughout pregnancy and lawmakers are committed to serving families.

“Of course, all this has made the Lone Star State a prime target of the abortion lobby and extremist Democrats who won’t even protect babies born alive in failed abortions. Rep. Goldman knows it’s critical to protect the gains we’ve made, and that there’s more work to be done. He’ll be a champion for the people of Texas in Congress.”

A fifth generation Texan and a fourth generation native of Fort Worth, Goldman spent over two decades working on Republican campaigns and a decade working alongside his father in the family business before he was elected to the House of Representatives in 2012. He currently serves as chair of the House Republican Caucus.

Goldman has proudly served on the board of directors for the Women’s Center of Tarrant County, Cowtown Executive Association, and was a founding board member for the Tarrant County College Foundation, which gives away thousands of dollars in scholarships each year. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas in Austin.
