MADISON, Wisc. – SBA Pro-Life America issued the following statement this morning in response to the Wisconsin Supreme Court decision striking down the state’s longstanding pro-life law protecting babies throughout pregnancy:
“We mourn the lives that will be lost under this activist ruling from the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Babies with heartbeats and who can feel pain have no legal protection in the state of Wisconsin where abortion through the fifth month is now the law of the land as dictated by four justices on the court,” said Kelsey Pritchard, political communications director for SBA Pro-Life America.
“Republican voters should heed this race as a warning ahead of the 2026 midterms. We must be engaged as we enter the midterms and show up to the polls next year so that Democrats cannot fulfill the abortion lobby’s agenda for late-term abortion funded by the taxpayer in more of our states and nationally.”
