Evansville Planned Parenthood announced they will close on July 23. Despite Indiana’s law protecting life at conception, this Planned Parenthood has been sending women out of state to nearby businesses for abortions. According to a document from Planned Parenthood, they refer women to chains in Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan – some of which completely bypass parents and do abortions up to 28 weeks. Some of the facilities they recommend are known to injure women and send them to the ER, including one case in which a woman died after a broken elevator prevented responders from reaching her quickly.
