Des Moines, IA – SBA Pro-Life America and Iowa For A Pro-Life Nation have hired Doug Wagner as Iowa Communications Director. Doug will be responsible for promoting the organization’s pro-life message both in the media and to the pro-life grassroots in the Hawkeye State.

Wagner has 30+ years of experience in federal, state and local government communications, as well as with private sector companies. Most recently, he was a host on some of Iowa’s largest radio stations, and his experience includes an hour-long live interview with President Donald Trump and interviews with several cabinet members and the entirety of Iowa’s Congressional delegation.

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser said:

“We are so glad to have Doug on board as we continue to build the pro-life grassroots team in Iowa. Our $4.4 million investment into the Iowa midterms races was just the beginning of our work to elect pro-life leaders in the Hawkeye State. With his wealth of experience in the public and private sectors, Doug will be a crucial player in our state and national efforts to save more lives from abortion.”

SBA Pro-Life America and its partner Women Speak Out have reached 1.4 million Iowa voters ahead of the midterms, including around 340,000 at their doorsteps through the SBA field program. In addition to the $4.4 million already being spent in the state, SBA Pro-Life America and Iowa For A Pro-Life Nation are building an effort in communications, campaign and field staff to reach even more Iowans in the next election.

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America is a network of more than one million pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
