Pro-Life Canvassers to Make 500K Visits to IA Voters’ Homes to Defeat Democrat Extremists Like Rob Sand

Des Moines, Iowa – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Zach Lahn for governor of Iowa.

“Zach Lahn understands life is the foundation of all human rights. He believes strongly in safeguarding that sacred right for all human beings, born and unborn. Lahn is the clear pro-life candidate for governor and we’re pleased to endorse him,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro-Life America. “Not just anyone can pick up the torch from pro-life hero Gov. Kim Reynolds. Iowans deserve an unapologetic fighter who will continue building a culture of life and make sure precious children and their moms are always protected in the Hawkeye State. Lahn stands in stark contrast to Democrat Rob Sand, who spreads lies about Iowa’s hard-won pro-life laws to distract from his own radical stance of zero limits on abortion up to the baby’s first breath.

“As our passionate canvassers make their way across Iowa, speaking personally with hundreds of thousands of pro-life and persuadable voters right at their homes, we’re confident the Heartland will reject the Democrats’ cruel extremism and elect champions like Zach Lahn up and down the ballot.”

This election cycle, SBA Pro-Life America and its affiliated entities plan to spend $80 million to protect life across America. The groups’ voter contact program—the largest and most effective of its kind in the country—includes reaching 10 million voters across South Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Montana, Georgia and Texas as well as Iowa. Last month, the groups’ Iowa field team surpassed 100,000 visits to voters’ homes across the Des Moines, Davenport and Cedar Rapids areas, part of an ongoing effort to reach half a million Hawkeye State voters directly at their doorsteps through Election Day to defeat pro-abortion Democrats and elect pro-life candidates in the gubernatorial, U.S. Senate, and key House races.
