“We are proud to endorse our friend and staunch pro-life ally Senator John Boozman for re-election,” said Musgrave. “As a father and grandfather, Senator Boozman knows each and every life is precious and worth protecting. It’s why he has called on the U.S. Supreme Court to return the right to protect unborn children and their mothers to the people. He is a brick wall against Biden-Schumer Democrats’ extreme agenda of abortion on demand up to the moment of birth, which they want to impose nationwide, and has fought relentlessly to stop taxpayer funding of abortion. Arkansans are deeply pro-life and deserve proven leaders like John Boozman, standing strong in the Senate at this critical moment when millions of lives are at stake.”
Senator John Boozman has voted consistently to protect the lives of the unborn and their mothers and is a co-sponsor of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act, the Support and Value Expectant Moms and Babies Act, and the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. His staunch pro-life record earned an A+ on SBA List’s National Pro-Life Scorecard. He also co-signed the pro-life amicus brief submitted by over 200 Republican members of Congress supporting Mississippi in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which is currently before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Boozman is a fifth generation Arkansan and a native of Fort Smith. Prior to serving in elected office, he was a successful businessman and community servant, co-founding Boozman-Hof Regional Eye Clinic and establishing the low vision program at the Arkansas School for the Blind in Little Rock. He started his public career on the Rogers School Board before he was elected to Congress representing Arkansas’ 3rd Congressional District from 2001-2011. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2011. Boozman and his wife Cathy live in Rogers and have three daughters and four grandchildren.
SBA List is a network of 900,000 pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
