Rep. Dan Lipinski to Co-Chair Pro-life Caucus
Its just been announced that Congressman Dan Lipinski (D-IL) will serve as the Democratic Co-Chair of the Bipartisan Congressional Pro-life Caucus in the 112th Congress!
Rep. Lipinski has been a longtime pro-life Member and was the only pro-life Democrat to stand firm and vote “no” on the health care reform legislation this past March. Since the passage of the pro-abortion health care law, Rep. Lipinski has taken the lead in advancing legislation to stop taxpayer funding of abortion, and is also an advocate for pro-life alternatives to embryonic stem-cell research.
Rep. Lipinski joins his colleague and another pro-life hero, Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) in chairing the Pro-life caucus, saying “Protection of unborn children must be a legislative priority in the 112th Congress and I look forward to leading this bipartisan coalition of pro-life Members with Chris Smith as we continue our work to protect innocent human life.”
