Krebs Has a Solid Pro-life Record, Will Fight for Unborn Children & Their Mothers
Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced its endorsement of Shantel Krebs for Congresswoman Kristi Noem’s open seat in South Dakota’s At-Large congressional district. Krebs is part of SBA List’s first round of endorsed candidates in the 2018 cycle.
“We are excited to endorse Shantel Krebs, who has a solid pro-life record in the state legislature and as Secretary of State,” said former U.S. Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Shantel has helped lead the way for South Dakota to become one of the most pro-life states in the nation. She has fought to protect unborn girls from the lethal discrimination of sex-selective abortion. In Congress she will fight to stop taxpayer funding of America’s largest abortion business, Planned Parenthood, and end cruel late-term abortions.”
Shantel Krebs accepted the endorsement saying:
“I am honored to be endorsed by Susan B. Anthony List, an organization that works tirelessly to save innocent lives. As a public servant for all South Dakotans, I have always stood up for the voiceless and defenseless, and I look forward to taking that fight to Washington.”
Krebs is South Dakota’s Secretary of State and served for ten years in the state legislature. She is a fourth-generation South Dakotan and a graduate of Dakota State University. She and her husband Mitch have been married for eighteen years.
