Des Moines & Davenport, Iowa – Fifty pro-life students are hitting the ground to re-elect Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Rep. Zach Nunn ahead of next year’s election. SBA Pro-Life America is deploying canvassers to visit the homes of 75,000 voters in Des Moines and Davenport to champion the representatives’ pro-life record in the House.

SBA Pro-Life America has the largest pro-life voter contact program in the country, making a $92 million investment in the last election to defeat Kamala Harris and secure Republican majorities in the House and Senate. So far this year, canvassers with SBA and its partner organizations have visited 400,000 pro-life and persuadable voters in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia, Wisconsin and South Carolina.

“America’s leading pro-life field program is proud to be in Iowa, working to maintain the pro-life majority in the House of Representatives,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “This year, Rep. Miller-Meeks and Rep. Nunn were instrumental in cutting off taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. We must send them back to D.C. to prevent the abortion industry from clawing back $500 million in Medicaid funding to prop up their brutal industry that kills over 1.1 million unborn children each year, harms women with substandard care and funnels millions into woke politics.

“Miller-Meeks and Nunn are on Hakeem Jeffries’ target list. Democrats will spend millions of dollars from now through Election Day to try to fill their seats with pro-abortion candidates who support second- and third-trimester abortion. Our students are energized to send these pro-life officials back to Congress and stop the Democrats from flipping seats in Iowa.”

Four of Iowa’s Planned Parenthood chains have closed since the abortion industry was defunded in the One Big Beautiful Bill. Only two Planned Parenthoods remain in Iowa – one in Des Moines and another in Iowa City. An analysis from the Charlotte Lozier Institute shows before the closures, community health centers where women on Medicaid can receive care outnumbered Planned Parenthoods in the state by 28 times.
