Washington, D.C. – Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Congressman Kevin Cramer for U.S. Senate in North Dakota.
“We are proud to endorse Congressman Cramer and encouraged that a strong pro-life candidate will take on Senator Heitkamp this November,” said former congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Heitkamp is an extremist who supports abortion on demand up to the moment of birth. Her record is dramatically out of step with her constituents’ values. In contrast, Congressman Cramer is unapologetically pro-life and is leading the charge to end cruel late-term abortions and stop taxpayer funding of the abortion industry.”
Rep. Cramer has represented North Dakota in Congress since 2012. He has a 100% pro-life voting record and has co-sponsored the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the Conscience Protection Act, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act, the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act, and the Defund Planned Parenthood Act. A native of Kindred, North Dakota, he and his wife Kris have five children and four grandchildren.
