Washington, D.C. –  Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced its endorsement of John James for U.S. Senate in Michigan:

“John James will be a strong voice for the pro-life movement,” Jane Abraham, Susan B. Anthony List Chairman of the Board, said in a statement. “John’s strong position on life is exactly what Michigan needs in the United States Senate. We urge all Michigan voters concerned with protecting life to support John James.”

After graduating from West Point in 2004, John James became a Ranger-qualified aviation officer. John served in Operation Iraqi Freedom where he logged 753.8 combat flight hours leading two Apache platoons. After eight years of service to the nation, James returned to Michigan to work in the family business: James Group International. Currently its President, James has led the company from $35 million to $137 million in revenue while creating 100 additional jobs in Michigan and around the country since 2012.

Susan B. Anthony List and its partner super PAC, Women Speak Out spent more than $18 million in the 2016 election cycle, visiting more than 1.1 million homes in battleground states to defeat Hillary Clinton and maintain a pro-life Senate. SBA List is dedicated to pursuing policies and electing candidates who will reduce and ultimately end abortion. To that end, SBA List emphasizes the education, promotion, mobilization, and election of pro-life women. SBA List is a network of more than 630,000 pro-life Americans nationwide.
