Washington, D.C.As the U.S. Senate is set to vote on advancing the nomination of pro-abortion Julie Rikelman to the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, SBA Pro-Life America strongly opposes confirmation. Votes will be reflected in the group’s National Pro-Life Scorecard.

Rikelman argued for the abortion industry in the historic Dobbs Supreme Court decision – and lost.

“Julie Rikelman’s career is one of a pro-abortion activist, consistently on the wrong side of human rights and the Constitution,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “One year after the Dobbs victory, half the country has put protections in place for unborn children and their mothers. The will of the people is clear. We need judges who respect the democratic process, not distort the law to pursue an extremist personal agenda. Rikelman does not qualify.”

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America is a network of more than one million pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
