Washington, D.C.Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Christine Villaverde to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional District.

North Carolina is an SBA Pro-Life America stronghold. The group and its partner super PAC, Women Speak Out PAC, have boots on the ground in the state and have visited the homes of more than 322,000 North Carolina voters to educate them about Democrats’ extreme pro-abortion policies. In 2021 the groups launched a three-state press tour starting in North Carolina, part of a six-figure campaign to expose the extremism of Democrats including U.S. Rep. Deborah Ross.

“As an organization with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders, we are proud to endorse Christine Villaverde for Congress,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser, a North Carolina native. “Christine is fearless in standing up for both the unborn and their mothers. For too long extremists like Deborah Ross have sided with the abortion lobby against North Carolinians, voting to force hardworking taxpayers to pay for abortion on demand – even painful late-term abortions up to birth. In a new era when the people get to set compassionate policies that save the lives of unborn children and empower women and families, not a radical status quo imposed by unelected judges, Christine will use her voice and vote to champion common sense in Washington.”

Villaverde has a background in law enforcement and serves as a member of North Carolina’s Emergency Response Team. She and her husband are the proud parents of three children.

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America is a network of more than one million pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
