Washington, D.C. –Today SBA Pro-Life America’s Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Grey Mills (R) for Congress in North Carolina’s 10th District.
“Grey Mills is a strong ally advocating for the unborn in the state legislature and we’re proud to endorse him,” said Hon. Marilyn Musgrave, SBA Pro-Life America’s vice president of government affairs. “As vice chair of the House Judiciary Committee, Mills played a key role in securing North Carolina’s landmark protections for babies and aid for moms. When pro-abortion Governor Cooper infamously tried to block these historic advances on Mother’s Day weekend, Mills was leading the courageous charge to override Cooper’s veto. With Democrats in Washington hell-bent on rolling back life-saving progress in every state and imposing abortion on demand with no limits, even painful late-term abortions throughout all nine months of pregnancy, North Carolinians deserve champions who fight for their values. We can count on Grey Mills to stand up to the radical abortion lobby and do right by North Carolina families.”
Mills grew up in Iredell County, North Carolina, the son of small business owners and lifelong Mooresville residents. He received his bachelor’s degree in social science and education from Appalachian State University and his juris doctor degree from Regent University School of Law. He was an educator and assistant district attorney before opening a law practice in Mooresville. He was first elected to the state House of Representatives in 2008 and served two terms, then served on the Iredell Board of Elections until 2018. He returned to the House in 2020 and represents the 95th District. He and his wife Jennifer have three children.
