Abortion Giant Planned Parenthood Prioritizes Politics & Profit While Leaving a Trail of Negligence, Botched Procedures Nationwide
Washington, D.C. – As Congress advances the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which contains language stopping forced taxpayer funding of the Big Abortion industry in Medicaid for one year, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America along with SBA Pro-Life America Education Fund launched a six-figure TV and digital ad campaign exposing abortion giant Planned Parenthood’s record of putting abortion politics over the health and safety of women and girls. As detailed in The New York Times, incompetent, negligent “care” at Planned Parenthood, including botched procedures, sewage leaks and more, has proven to be a systemic rather than isolated issue. The ads will run all week in the D.C. market on Fox News, Newsmax and digitally.
Recent polling shows a strong 60% majority of registered voters agree taxpayers should not be forced to fund Planned Parenthood and the Big Abortion industry when they learn about “botched care, substandard facilities, medical negligence, inadequate staff training, unsanitary conditions, and using funds for lobbying and legal efforts instead of medical care.”
SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser commented:
“Big Abortion businesses prioritize more abortions and more profits at the expense of women and girls, with an ever-shrinking veneer of actual health care. One of the biggest and most egregious is Planned Parenthood – a multi-billion-dollar organization that rakes in $2 million in taxpayer dollars a day on average, while taking 400,000 unborn children’s lives a year, drastically increasing transgender ‘treatments,’ and funneling donor dollars toward politics and litigation rather than improving dangerously substandard ‘care’ at facilities nationwide. Voters agree, patients are much better served going to community health centers that offer comprehensive care and outnumber Planned Parenthoods 15 to one nationwide. Big Abortion doesn’t deserve taxpayer dollars. It’s time to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill, the most promising step forward yet to stop $500 million of forced taxpayer funding of the abortion industry.”
