Extremist Amy Acton Backs All-Trimester Abortion, Ignores Harm to Women & Children

Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Vivek Ramaswamy to be the next governor of Ohio.

“Vivek Ramaswamy understands the simple, commonsense truth that unborn children’s lives have value and are worth defending. He’s principled, compassionate and unafraid—exactly the type of leader Ohio needs,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “The contrast between Vivek and his opponent couldn’t be clearer. Amy Acton is hellbent on protecting abortion at any time and for any reason—even brutal late-term abortions in the second and third trimesters—as activists sue to strip away the bare minimum of protections for women and girls. Acton allowed Ohio’s notorious ‘father of partial-birth abortion’ to stay in business for years and eventually spend six figures to enshrine all-trimester abortion in the state constitution, all while botching abortions and repeatedly sending women to the ER. While Vivek speaks out for women and children harmed by mail-order abortion drugs, Acton’s silence on violent crimes committed by male abusers is deafening.

We ask Ohioans to support Vivek Ramaswamy to serve and protect all people, born and unborn, and reject Acton and the Big Abortion lobby.
