Pro-Life Ground Team Will Visit 325,000+ Voters to Expose Democrats Pro-Abortion Agenda

Washington, D.C.Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) criticized U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto’s (D-NV) pro-abortion record ahead of a U.S. Senate vote on the so-called “Women’s Health Protection Act”, legislation that would expand abortion until the moment of birth and block new and existing pro-life laws. Cortez Masto has said she will support the bill.

A poll of likely voters conducted by OnMessageInc. and released this week by SBA List finds that a strong majority of Americans in battleground states, including Nevada, reject abortion on demand until the moment of birth and support a 15-week limit on abortion.

SBA List previously announced it will score against the bill and sent a memo to Capitol Hill detailing the bill’s extreme provisions.

SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser commented:

“Senator Catherine Cortez Masto is an extremist, joining Biden and Schumer in pushing a radical pro-abortion agenda that Nevadans strongly reject. The deeply unpopular, deceptively named ‘Women’s Health Protection Act’ would wipe away virtually all pro-life protections in the states and would establish a federal right to abortion on demand until the moment of birth – a policy that that puts the United States in line with China and North Korea on late-term abortion. Abortion is not and never will be ‘health care,’ Senator.

“Cortez Masto and the Democratic Party are dramatically out of step with constituents. Our field team will visit hundreds of thousands of Nevada voters to educate them about her record and ensure she is held accountable on election night.”

Cortez Masto was elected to the U.S Senate in 2016. During her time in the Senate, she has supported a radical abortion agenda and has an F on SBA List’s National Pro-Life Scorecard.

The SBA List and Women Speak Out PAC field team has boots on the ground in Nevada and plans to visit over 325,000 homes to educate Nevada voters about Cortez Masto’s record on life. This election cycle, SBA List and its entities plan to spend $78 million to protect life across America. This includes reaching eight million voters across battleground states – four million directly at their doors – to take back the U.S. House and Senate.

SBA List spokeswomen, including Nevada State Director Maria Birnbaum, are available for interviews on this topic. Please contact [email protected].

SBA List is a network of 900,000 pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
