Washington, DC – National pro-life speaker Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of the Susan B. Anthony List will host a conference call for reporters to outline Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe’s position on abortion. Mr. McAuliffe’s campaign told The Washington Post that he “supports keeping existing Virginia laws on when abortions are legal.” Chuck Donovan, president of the Charlotte Lozier Institute will also be available to analyze and discuss current Virginia abortion laws.
Mr. McAuliffe has based much of his campaign on attack ads on the issue of abortion, yet has not fully articulated his position. Specifics to be discussed on the call:

Virginia voters deserve to know where Terry McAuliffe stands on the issue of taxpayer funding of abortion, protecting babies from late-term abortion beyond the fifth to sixth month, and safeguarding women from deplorable clinic conditions.
The Susan B. Anthony List, and its connected Political Action Committee, the SBA List Candidate Fund, are dedicated to electing candidates and pursuing policies that will reduce and ultimately end abortion. To that end, the SBA List will emphasize the election, education, promotion, and mobilization of pro-life women. www.sbaprolife.org
