Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Treasurer Allison Ball for re-election in the state of Kentucky.
“Allison Ball is a trailblazer and a passionate advocate for life who embodies our organization’s mission to promote strong pro-life, pro-woman leaders,” said SBA President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “In her time as Kentucky treasurer, she has focused on transparency in government. Upon re-election, we’re confident Allison will continue to demand that transparency, including holding extreme pro-abortion Democrats in the state accountable. We are grateful for her dedication to life and proud to support her.”
Allison Ball is a graduate of Kentucky Law School and former president of the school’s Federalist Society chapter. She and her husband, Asa James Swan, recently had their first son, Levi, making Allison the first constitutional official in the state to give birth during her term. She is the first Republican woman to be elected as state treasurer in Kentucky since the 1940s. Allison also supports local pregnancy centers in Kentucky and is passionate about providing resources for mothers and babies.
