Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Mary Miller in her race to serve Illinois’ 15th Congressional District.
“We are proud to endorse Mary Miller, a strong pro-life, pro-woman leader who has had an outstanding impact in her community,” said Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List Vice President of Government Affairs. “As a mother and former teacher, Mary is deeply devoted to the cause of families and children, and the life issue is especially close to her heart. In contrast to the extremism of Democrats in state government, who have pushed to expand abortion on demand and make Illinois the abortion capital of the Midwest, Mary will bring the voice of compassion for mothers and their babies to Congress at a time when it is greatly needed. We look forward to working with Mary in Washington to advance protections for the most vulnerable and stand up for the pro-life values of Americans.”
Mary Miller is a farmer with experience teaching in her local homeschool community. Her husband, Chris Miller, serves as a state representative and holds a strong pro-life voting record. One of their daughters is the founder and leader of the Students for Life chapter at her school. Residents of Oakland, Mary and Chris have raised their seven children and sixteen grandchildren in the Christian faith, and together they support local pregnancy centers in the area.
