Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced its endorsement of Katie Arrington in South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District.
“Katie Arrington has rock-solid pro-life convictions and is a passionate advocate for unborn children and their mothers,” said former congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “As the mother of a child with special needs, Katie fights courageously for the value of every human life. In the state legislature she was a driving force behind the passage of legislation to protect unborn babies from late-term abortion after five months of pregnancy, and she has worked tirelessly to stop taxpayer funding of the abortion industry. We are proud to endorse Katie Arrington and confident she will make a strong leader for life in Washington.”
Katie Arrington has served in the South Carolina House of Representatives since 2017. The wife of a soldier, she began her career by providing daycare services to military families, then worked in international trade before becoming a cybersecurity expert for the Department of Defense and running her own defense contracting company. She and her husband Rob have three children, including a son who was born with special needs and is now thriving.
