Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt (R) for re-election.
“Governor Stitt’s proven commitment to protecting the unborn and mothers stands in stark contrast to radical Democrat Joy Hofmeister who supports abortion on demand up until the moment birth,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Not only has Gov. Stitt worked vigorously to protect the unborn, he is also leading the charge to strengthen and grow Oklahoma’s support network for babies and moms – ensuring that there are always life-affirming alternatives to the violence of abortion. We’re honored to count Gov. Stitt as an ally and wholeheartedly endorse him for re-election.”
First elected governor in 2018, Stitt has safeguarded human life by signing protect unborn children and women from abortion throughout pregnancy, along with the Heartbeat Act, legislation to stop dangerous mail-order abortion drugs, and many others. Earlier this year he issued an executive order creating the Helping Every Life and Parent Task Force, which will study, evaluate and make recommendations for pro-life policies and programs.
