This past weekend the annual Values Voter Summit took place in Washington DC.
It was a wonderful gathering of pro-life activists, politicians, candidates, and citizens driven to support authentic American values including the sanctity of human life. Throughout the weekend many addresses and breakout sessions were held regarding various political issues and events at stake in our current day, including a panel discussion hosted by the Susan B. Anthony List on exposing and defunding Planned Parenthood. The SBA List panel featured Marjorie Dannenfelser, Lila Rose of Live Action, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Catherine Adair, a former Planned Parenthood employee (You can watch the panel discussionhere.)
One of the reoccurring themes of the weekend was the Pro-Life issue. On Friday morning we heard from two powerhouse pro-life women representatives, Reps. Ann Marie Buerkle (R-NY) and Vicky Hartzler (R-MO). Both of these ladies were elected during the 2010 elections. Susan B. Anthony List members should be proud that we worked so hard to support pro-life women like Reps. Buerkle & Hartzler who continue to be proud voices for Life in America today.
