Pro-Life Ground Team Made 636k + Visits to Voters to Expose Democrats’ Radical Abortion Agenda
Washington, D.C. –Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America celebrated as Ted Budd (R) defeated Cheri Beasley (D) for U.S. Senate in North Carolina.
Beasley is a vocal supporter of the deceptively named “Women’s Health Protection Act,” legislation that would mandate abortion on demand in all 50 states. Budd backs a federal minimum limit on abortion after 15 weeks, a point when unborn children can feel pain, and called out Beasley on the debate stage for her extremism.
This election cycle, SBA Pro-Life America and its partner Women Speak Out PAC contacted more than 955,000 North Carolina voters via door-to-door canvassing, voter contact mail, digital ads, live phone calls and text messaging to educate them on the life issue and expose pro-abortion Democrats’ extremism.

“North Carolinians agree there should be limits on brutal late-term abortions, and tonight they rejected pro-abortion extremist Cheri Beasley and delivered victory for Ted Budd,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser, a North Carolina native. “When Beasley refused to name any limit on abortion she would support, Budd called her out for being wildly out of step with the rest of the civilized world. Though the abortion lobby spent millions to elect radical Democrats like Beasley in North Carolina, their agenda of abortion on demand until birth – paid for by taxpayers – proved deeply unpopular. Budd joins the U.S. Senate at a critical moment and we’re proud to stand together in the fight for unborn children and their mothers.”
