STORIES FROM THE FIELD
Maria’s team met this Spanish-speaking voter who says he always votes Democrat, but when he heard that Mark Kelly does not support legal protections for babies who survive abortion attempts, he said he could never vote for him.
“I spoke to one lady who told me that she was born at 23 weeks and was less than two pounds. She believes that all abortion is wrong.” – Nicole, Arizona team
“I voted for Mark Kelly in the last election, but I don’t think I can vote for him after learning that.” This Arizonan identifies as pro-choice but is opposed to late abortion. She told Regina she wouldn’t want to vote for Kelly again knowing he supports it.

STORIES FROM THE FIELD
“Yes, we are all pro-life here!” This Florida voter is proudly pro-life and has been urging his family and friends to vote to re-elect pro-life leaders Senator Rick Scott and Governor Ron DeSantis in November. He asked for extra doorhangers to share.
“I never paid attention to politics, I didn’t want to get involved, but I am now!” A voter told our Florida team she never wanted to think about politics, but she started to be more involved after learning about the extreme positions of pro-abortion politicians.
“Life is the most important thing.” One Florida voter’s response when Angelica asked her if she would vote pro-lif.

STORIES FROM THE FIELD
“Every life is a gift.” This pro-life Georgian woman had not heard of Raphael Warnock, but now that she knows he is pro-abortion, she will not vote for him. She thanked Clara for the information.
One man was very surprised to hear about Sen. Warnock’s positions on abortion and infanticide since Warnock is a preacher. Specifically, the guy I was talking to said, “I thought he was a religious man.”
I talked to a woman who said she didn’t support late term abortion and would be less likely to vote for someone who did. As I turned to leave she said, “I didn’t know that about Warnock. That’s terrible.”

STORIES FROM THE FIELD
“They have lost all common sense.” Trish spoke with a North Carolina voter who has always voted Democrat, but does not plan to anymore because the Democrats have “lost all common sense.” He opposes abortion when science shows a child can feel pain.
One North Carolina voter was happy to speak with Matt & Dion. He gave them a copy of the Constitution & said “I came to this country because it was founded on protecting life, liberty, & the pursuit of happiness. I will always vote for life!”
Cheryl met a voter who said that she considered herself to be pro-choice, however they more they talked the more she shortened the time she felt that should be allowed for an abortion. By the time they parted she said that she definitely felt that 12-15 weeks should be the maximum and that any baby born alive during a failed abortion attempt should be guaranteed the right to the same level of care any other baby born at the same gestation would receive.

STORIES FROM THE FIELD
Marlene met Adele, who was a registered Democrat, but plans to vote for Republican this cycle.
Adele has been having discussions about abortion with her two sons. One of her sons challenged her position on abortion being OK in certain instances saying, “it’s not the baby’s fault.”
Their discussions led her to ask: “Who stands up for the baby?” and the SCOTUS leak has energized her to get out and vote pro-life.
“I wouldn’t vote for someone who would allow infanticide.”
A voter initially told Niaire he didn’t think he could have an opinion on abortion as a man, but was horrified when he learned Fetterman doesn’t even support protecting babies born alive after failed abortion attempts.
Members of our student team spoke with Maria, who is a mother of eight children – two of whom she adopted from moms who chose life! She’s thankful for their courage in the face of a society that often presents abortion as the only option.

STORIES FROM THE FIELD
“I didn’t know that, & I don’t support it.” One Wisconsinite told our team he identifies as pro-choice, but didn’t know that a baby can feel pain at 20 weeks. He doesn’t support late abortion & will remember that when he votes.
“To be pro-life means doing everything you can to help these children.”
This Wisconsinite & his wife care for children with special needs & have adopted 13 of them “so far.” He was inspired by his mother, a nurse who volunteered at pregnancy centers her whole life.
Hailey met a Wisconsin family who thanked her for sharing info so voters know the positions candidates take on abortion. They used to be Democrats, but after learning what extremist Democrats support, including abortion on demand, they could no longer vote for them.
Coronavirus Update: We take seriously the health of our canvassing team and the voters we seek to reach. In March, 2020 our field team pivoted from door-to-door canvassing to live calls to voters in our targeted battleground states. In June, 2020 the team returned to the field, observing masking and social distancing and taking other precautions as outlined by the CDC.
