Pillen Will Stand Up to the Abortion Lobby & Protect Unborn Children & Their Mothers
Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Jim Pillen (R) for governor of Nebraska.
“We are excited to endorse Jim Pillen, a strong pro-life leader who will bring compassion to the governor’s office while fighting for Nebraskans. He has what it takes to defeat Carol Blood, who claims protections for the unborn and their mothers constitute a ‘police state,’” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “A father of four and grandfather of seven, Jim deeply understands the value each individual child brings to the world. Nebraskans can count on Jim to safeguard human life at its most vulnerable, throughout pregnancy as well as after a child is born, to stand with mothers and families, and to be a stalwart advocate for loving alternatives to abortion. Nebraskans deserve continued pro-life leadership in Lincoln and we urge voters to support Pillen for governor this November.”
Pillen grew up on a farm in Platte County, Nebraska. He earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and later earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University. Jim and his father started Pillen Family Farms in 1993. Jim and his wife Suzanne have four children and seven grandchildren.
